Chartered in 1967, the Capital Area Chapter is one of 30 community-based chapters of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame.

Geographically, our chapter encompasses Harrisburg and its east shore.

The purpose of the Chapter is to recognize athletes, coaches and administrators who have brought lasting fame and recognition to the Greater Harrisburg area.

Beginning with its inaugural Class of Hall of Famers in 1967, the Chapter has immortalized 410 men and women for their accomplishments in sports.
